WHY BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?
"Why do the good die young?"
"How can there be a God who allows his own people to live in torment?"
"If there is a God, why would he allow sickness, disease, cancer, murder or hate in the world?"
"Isn't God suppose to be love??"

SIDE NOTE:
There are several answers to these questions, but each individual has to open up their mind and heart to the following statements below.
I always welcome everyone to read. If you do not believe in God, I will never condemn. However, I encourage everyone to read for the basic principles.

It may just change your life....

#10.
IGNORANCE

  • Many people  never acknowledge that  "personal" choices can  create a lifetime of unnecessary heartache and pain.  Sometimes, it is our lack of wisdom and knowledge that can lead  to destruction. Spiritually, a person is  only held responsible for what they understand, however....

****"THERE IS A  DIRECT CORRELATION BETWEEN IGNORANT CHOICES AND NEGATIVE CONSEQUENCES."****
  • Melanoma is a life threatening illness caused by excessive sun exposure.  Tanning is the primary action that can  lead to this common health problem.

****"IGNORANCE IS NOT A FORM OF PREVENTION."****

"Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children (Hosea 4:5-6)."

"WELL I MADE A MISTAKE!!
I JUST DIDN'T KNOW IT... TWICE!!!
23" for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
(Romans 3:23)."

A mistake is a one time decision.  You can make a mistake in different areas, but,  if you  continue to  repeat behavior resulting in constant negativity.....

****"IT IS YOUR FAULT!"****

  • mis·take
    • 1. An error or fault resulting from defective judgment, deficient knowledge, or carelessness.
    • 2. A misconception or misunderstanding.
    • God is very forgiving, however, you reap what you sow. Never take advantage of his forgiveness. Refusing to take immediate responsibility for your wrong actions, (formally a mistake) will eventually bring a new feeling of acceptance ( i.e. lack of guilt)

****" THIS IS A DANGEROUS ZONE TO BE IN!!! "****
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows
    (Galatians 6:7)."

    EXAMPLE NUMBER ONE:
    • BAD THING YOU DID:
      • Never paid your bills on time when you had the money.
    • CONSEQUENCES:
      • Repossession, foreclosure, unhappiness, divorce, and losing important friends.
    • COMMON REACTION:
      • "I do not understand why God would let something like this happen to me???!!!"

    EXAMPLE NUMBER TWO:
    • BAD THING YOU DID:
      • Constantly saying bad things about others.
    • CONSEQUENCES:
      • People will never have anything good to say about you!
    • COMMON REACTIONS:
      • "I don't understand why God would have so many people dislike me? They are just haters!"
      EXAMPLE NUMBER THREE:
      • BAD THING YOU DID:
        • Running a red light.
      • CONSEQUENCES:
        • Sooner or later you will either get a ticket, or kill someone.
      • COMMON REACTION:
        • "I do not understand why God would ever allow me to keep getting pulled over!!! He knows I am trying to make it on time to church. I do not deserve these tickets! OMG!!!"
        ****"OBEY MAN'S LAW..."****
"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him
         (I Peter 2:13 )."

Those are just three brief examples,
we can also bring sickness, disease
and a premature death upon ourselves.
"Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do
        and doesn't do it, sins
         (James 4:17)."

        ****"SOMETIMES THE ERROR OF OUR
        WAYS BRINGS BAD CONSEQUENCES....."****
        BUT........

        ALLOWING OTHER'S
        TO DETERMINE OUR FUTURE

This actually coincides with number 10. There are certain times in our lives where we need to take control over what happens to us and how we allow others to treat us. Sometimes (not always), good people struggle because they are to eager to please others. They desire for everyone to like them and are deeply afraid of rejection.

The word "No" is never heard in their vocabulary.

Learn to say "no" and make your own life choices. This includes NOT living the life your parents want. Honoring your parents does not mean doing everything they want you to do FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.....

        WE LIVE IN THE FLESH/
        BORN INTO IT

From the time a person is born, they become susceptible to disease, accidents, illnesses and everything associated with being a human being. This is something we have very little control over. Whether or not something bad happens, can occur because we exist in this world. No one is invincible. If you sit next to someone who is coughing or sneezing, you will probably get sick....BECAUSE YOU ARE HUMAN!

"All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath
        (Ephesians 2:3)."

Being born in the flesh includes, not being able to choose your family. Children are born into this world under circumstances beyond their control.

This is something that people need to acknowledge prior to conceiving  a child. Generational problems exist ( whether a person believes in God or not).

         EXAMPLES OF FAMILY ISSUES REOCCURRING:

****"YOUR FAMILY DETERMINES WHERE YOU CAME FROM, YOU DETERMINE WHERE YOU ARE GOING...."***

        16" Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents;
each will die for their own sin
         (Deuteronomy 24:16)."
"If God is so loving, how come he allows his people to suffer?"
"Our fathers sinned and are no more, and we bear their punishment
        (Lamentations 5:7)."

        TO HELP OTHERS

It is common knowledge that our country has created support groups designed to unite people who are struggling with similar situations. Human beings naturally take advice from those who have battled through similar situations.   If the good never experienced bad, it would be impossible for them to reach outsiders.

"Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another
         (Galatians 6:2-4)."

        ***"EXPERIENCING BAD CAN BRING GOOD....."****

        HOW?
"If you did not have your share of bad relationships, you may not currently appreciate the good person you are with today....."

"If you never had that car accident, you may have never met those strangers who are currently your new best friends...."
"If you never fail....you will never succeed...."

****"SOMETIMES THE BAD MAKE US APPRECIATE THE GOOD, AND CAN ALLOW US TO HELP OTHERS THROUGH THEIR WEAK MOMENTS...."****

         INCREDIBLE STRENGTH IS SHOWN/DEVELOPED

We never realize how much we can handle, until we are tested. Sometimes we look at situations and they seem like mountains, but a good person will get through it. After you see the light at the end of the tunnel and pass through those horrible times, you become aware of how strong you really are. Going through bad things, can be eye opening and self-fulfilling after the mountain is climbed.

13" No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it

        (1 Corinthians 10:13)."

        GOOD PEOPLE ARE INSPIRING

Who are the people who have inspired you the most?

        How often are you inspired?

        • in·spire
          • 1. To affect, guide, or arouse by divine influence.

Anyone who is honest with themselves will  instantaneously think of the people who have gone through it all and come out on top, even if they die from a terrifying disease. Those who inspire have battled struggles and were never afraid to share their stories. Inspiring one person in this life, is not something that happens very often.

It never takes a long time to recall the people who are inspirational. They always touch and change multiple lives.

"Good people never aim to please, they aim to inspire. "

        ****"AND THEY DO....."****

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16)."

         BUILDS YOUR TESTIMONY

Each person on this earth has a purpose. Each of us has a different journey. Your life is your testimony. We are given the freedom of choice.  While we may not always be in control of  every life situation, we can control our reactions to what happens in our lives.
"Your reaction, is also your testimony to others."

****"CHANGE A LIFE WITH YOUR TESTIMONY....."****

        MAY CHANGE YOUR HEART/HUMBLE YOU

No one can change a person, but certain events in life can. I am not referring to the birth of a child or marriage. This goes much deeper. There are things in life that some of us will experience that will challenge our faith and force us to humble ourselves. Heartache and pain opens can leave you vulnerable, and if you allow "it will, change you forever."

A person who  once had a problem loving, may be diagnosed with  cancer and suddenly become transformed into an  extremely loving person. Maybe people from the outside will see these changes and become inspired. Or perhaps, the cancer strickened individual begins to love the unloveable, creating a new cycle.

This is not suggesting that we all have to become deathly ill before we change our hearts, however, in many cases this is what it takes.

"This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of
         God, that the Son of
God may be glorified by it."
        (John 11:4)."

        IT WAS MEANT TO BE...

Sometimes, there is no answer. What happens can be beyond our control and the only thing we can do is have faith that everything will turn out for the good. This does not mean that a higher power has forsaken you , it simply means that this was the chapter in life that you were given.

"The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law
        (Deuteronomy 29:29)."

Never compare your journey with someone else, you never know what they had to experience to achieve what they have today....

        ****"NOTHING LASTS FOREVER."****

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away
         (Revelation 21:4).”

****THERE WILL NEVER BE A PROBLEM THAT YOU FACE THAT YOU CAN NOT BARE....."*****

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it (1 Corinthians 10:13)."
