  • If anyone is pressuring you to have sex....They do not care about you! Someone who loves and respects you will wait! AND, if a man, 18+, is trying to engage in sexual activity with you...THIS IS "STATUTORY" RAPE AND IT IS ILLEGAL!

  • A young girl, especially those who do not have a "father figure," can easily fall victim to an older man. They will tell you anything that you want to hear:

    • "I love you!"

  • Realize that you are too special for someone that is going to take advantage of  your vulnerability to have sex. Report them, ignore them AND walk away!

    • A boy who cares for you will "stay" with or without sex!
  • Take a very good look at those questions. If you do not understand the questions OR the answers, than you should not be engaging in sex.

  • Give yourself time to accept the changes that are happening within your body. It is a strong possibility that at 13 and 15. you and your boyfriend will not be an item.
  • This is normal! When you are that young, you can have a crush on EVERYONE AT ANYTIME!
  • If this is "forever"...what is the rush?
  • There is no "specific" age requirements when it comes to making the choice to lose your virginity.
  • Remember, you can only lose your virginity "once."
  • Most teens feel they can not talk to their parents concerning these issues:
    • Fear of disappointment
    • Fear of disapproval
    • They are my parents....wayyyyy weird!
  • The choice is yours...but if you find yourself asking questions similar to this quite often, then it probably is NOT the right decision. And that is okay!!! We all have points in our lives where we just get completely confused.
    • If you choose to wait, try to NOT put yourself in situations where you may become tempted and things get out of hand."
      • Try to have fun in the presence of friends or public places.
      • Reframe from using alcohol and drugs. This will impair your decision making.
  • If you are confused....I would take a deeper look...
  • When the time is right, you will never have to ask...you will feel peace!
