RACISM AGAINST CAUCASIANS?

Today we live in a world filled with hatred and racism. Many Caucasians are left feeling victims held to a crime they did not commit. Regardless of what color you are, if you are white and their was a problem historically that arise, a person with pale skin, or anyone who resembles Caucasian cannot tell the world that their skin color is beautiful without it being a racial remark.

Why is this?
From African Americans, Native Americans, Hiroshima and the mistreatment of  every ethnicity that is not deemed pure white, the white man has taken the blame for it all. It does not matter what century something happened, if you have the appearance of being "white" it is your fault.

IS THE WHITE MAN
TO BLAME FOR EVERYTHING?
We should NEVER blame one entire race because of our Nation's current suffering issues. Every individual with white skin is NOT responsible for everything that has happened. In fact, during the times of immense racism, their were good people of a white background who helped free the slaves. Somehow, these people are never mentioned. We choose to only recognize the "bad" of an entire race. Whether people realize it or not, this is a form of racism, against whites. Horrible biases occur everyday, however, their is a lot of it that happens within the same race, this excludes the white man.
WHO DO WE BLAME
FOR ALL OF THE RACISM?

Anyone who has said any of the following statements below is responsible for racism spreading. Many who view this list would automatically believe that "only" white people have said these words. Unfortunately that is not true. Not only are whites inclusive of these biased statements, but so are the people within the same culture.
  • "You sound white on the phone!"
  • "Why are you acting so white?"
  • "It is not my fault, I never owned slaves."
  • "Black history month is for blacks."
  • "Native Americans spend all day gambling."
  • "Mexicans are super dirty."
  • Using racial slurs
  • "You are pretty for a (insert race) girl."
This means blacks against blacks, whites against whites, Hispanics against Hispanics and Asians against Asians. The reality is that WE ARE ALL TO BLAME FOR THE BIASES THAT EXISTS! Even something as simple as commenting on how someone dresses, can be taken out of context.

 "I had to take my
13 year old out of school."
Today, it is strongly looked down upon if a person with lighter skin says that they are beautiful. Many people who point the finger against racist people, are generally the people who are responsible for racism spreading.

The Underground Railroad is a great story in American history. People, both black and white, formed a secret network that helped enslaved African Americans escape to freedom. Unfortunately, a lot of what we learn is not true.

Famous nonblacks
who helped during slavery!
  • Writer of Uncle Tom's Cabin, who began as a writer for the Washington anti-slavery weekly, the National Era
  • John Brown was an abolitionist who used militant actions to abolish slavery in the United States.

  • Levi and Catharine Coffin were legendary in helping many former slaves escape to freedom in the North. Levi is often referred to as the President of the Underground Railroad.

This Presbyterian minister was one of the earliest voices in the country against slavery. Rankin's "Letters on Slavery" - written to his brother in Virginia - greatly influenced William Lloyd Garrison and many other abolitionists.

HOW DO I HELP?
  • Acknowledge that one race is NOT responsible for everyone.
  • Become a part of the solution. Correct your way of thinking and speech.
  • Look in the mirror and stop accusing an entire race and start focusing on how you can help. A person can NEVER be held responsible for the actions of another person, however, they can be held accountable for how they respond to the issues around them.
  • SHAKE A HAND AND SMILE AT SOMEONE DIFFERENT.
  • DO NOT SPREAD BIASED OPINIONS TO YOUR CHILDREN. Kids learn primarily from their parents. They repeat what they hear. Most children are completely oblivious to race and culture. They see a child or a person, regardless of what their skin color is, they are quick to make friends.
  • EDUCATE YOURSELF!

When did we lose this
love for one another?
"Therefore, whoever humbles himself
like this child is the greatest
 in the kingdom oheaven
 (Mathew 18:3)."

BOTTOM LINE: We are responsible for our reactions. It is not a crime to say that lighter skin is pretty. The only thing that is wrong with this scenario is if a person says "ONLY" a certain ethnicity is beautiful. When a person says black is beautiful, there is nothing wrong with that, so without being judgmental, recognize that a person of paler skin is beautiful as well. People are continuing to cry out about racial issues, yet the same thing they are claiming that a person outside of their race is doing, they are doing the same thing back to them.....
BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
ASIANS ARE BEAUTIFUL
WHITE IS BEAUTIFUL
INDIAN ARE BEAUTIFUL

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
